About Joe

Hey There!  

I’m Joe and I am currently living in Madrid, Spain.  I am originally from the United States, specifically Southern Illinois.  I grew up racing BMX, riding mountain bikes, road bikes, and bike touring.  In addition to my love for cycling, I was in the cycling industry for over 10 years.  Cycling has been a big part of my life in general and I am hoping to share my joy with you.    

Why the bike tour company?  

I moved to Madrid, Spain in September 2019 and immediately started to explore Madrid’s countryside by bike.  I quickly discovered a cycling paradise that isn’t discussed internationally.  The Madrid community has everything from epic grand tour style mountain climbs, beautiful rolling roads through olive groves, and of course flat buttery smooth roads.  Not to mention the world class restaurants, parks, museums, and nightlife Madrid has to offer!   I want to bring this experience to people who would like to explore the culture and cycling within the Madrid region.
